Let me tell you a story...
My wife and I booked a snowy cabin geraway for our honeymoon and couldn’t wait to spend the long weekend showshoeing, ice skating, and watching winter movies by the fire. When we pulled up, it was picture-perfect with a freshly fallen blanket of snow, and majestic evergreen trees surrounding a quaint log cabin. We grabbed our bags out of the trunk and began walking up to the door. I stopped in my tracks.
“What are those?” I asked as I pointed down to the ground. A fresh trail of footsteps lead from the trees to the cabin door.
But when we walked in, the place was empty. I couldn’t shake the weird feeling that we weren’t alone. Especially since the footsteps were leading into the cabin and none were coming out.
