All of the fragrance oils used in our candles are phthalate-free and adhere to the strict RIFM and IFRA standards regarding fragrance safety. Our fragrances are also cruelty-free and vegan!

Our candles are created with soy wax with a cracking wood wick. Our wicks are made from only 100% Natural wood from Sappy Fruit Trees sustainably sourced in the USA.

The fragrance oils used are formulated from a combination of natural essential oils and synthetic aroma chemicals. If you are concerned about an ingredient, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at info@hexandwaxcandle.com for a copy of the Safety Data Sheets for the fragrances that we use.

As a dog mom, I take pet safety seriously. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to tell how an individual pet will react to any specific fragrance oils. It is always best practice to burn candles in a well ventilated area, and to always keep them out of reach of any of your furry friends. 

That is a natural occurrence with soy waxes. It has to do with the inconsistencies with heating and cooling during the burning process. Don't worry, your candle will still smell wonderful and burn evenly!
