How to Use a Wooden Wick

Wooden wicks need a quick trim after every burn. If your candle won’t stay lit, the wick has likely built up too much char. Gently remove the burnt edges with a wick trimmer, nail clippers, or even by pinching it off with a tissue to help your flame burn clean and steady.

Candle Care

Trim your wooden wick before every burn. Pinch off any charred tips or use a wick trimmer. Keep the wick around 1/4" to ensure a steady flame, as a wick that is too long often causes your candle to go out.
Allow your candle to burn long enough for the wax to melt to the edges of the container. The first burn usually takes 2–4 hours. Do not burn longer than 4 hours at a time.
Always burn candles within sight. Keep away from drafts, vibrations, and flammable objects. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
For the best fragrance and performance, use your candle within two years of purchase.
