Care information

Candle Care

Always trim your wood wick before each light! Simply pinch off the charred wood from the previous light, or use a wick trimmer for a cleaner cut. Wicks should be about 1/4" each time the candle is lit. The most common reason for wood wick candles not staying lit is a wick that is too long.

In order to ensure your candle will not tunnel over time, give your candle ample time to melt to the edge the first time you light it. This can take up to 4 hours.

And as always, remember not to light the candle near anything flammeble: fabrics, curtains, house plants, etc. Keep candle away from pets and children. Do not light for longer than 4 hours at a time. Be careful handling candle when it is lit as the jar can be very hot.

Wax Melt Care

Use one square of wax for wall plug-ins, or two wax squares for a table-top warmer.

To remove from the warmer, turn on the warmer until the wax is melted and then soak up melted wax with cotton balls.

Let me tell you a story...

"The old Victorian home stood vacant for so long. The price was fantastic, the architecture was beautiful, and so much of the original furniture and fixtures remained untouched. I was thrilled when our offer was accepted right away. But after a few nights in the house, I understood why no one wanted to call it home. Especially when passing by the old ornate mirror in the bedroom hallway.

They say that mirrors are a “between space” that allow spirits to pass through into our world, and if any mirror had that power, this one did. Especially when I repeatedly saw a dark figure of a woman standing behind me.

She was always there.

Right behind me."
