How to use a wooden wick

Wooden wicks naturally build up char as they burn, so trimming between uses is essential. If your candle keeps going out, lightly remove the burned section with a trimmer, nail clippers, or tissue. A quick trim will bring your flame back to life and keep your candle burning smoothly.

For an even burn, trim your wooden wick before each use. Pinch or trim charred ends to keep it at roughly 1/4". A wick that is too long can prevent the flame from staying alive.

The first burn sets the memory for your candle. Burn long enough for the wax to reach the edges—usually 2–4 hours. Do not exceed 4 hours in a single burn.

Burn candles safely by keeping them in view at all times. Avoid placing near flammable materials or drafts, and never leave children or pets unattended near the flame.

To ensure the best fragrance experience, light your candle within two years of purchase.
