Where the Spirits of Scotland Never Sleep

Highland Mourning captures the quiet sorrow of Scotland’s mist-covered moors. Notes of Scottish thistle, soft florals, and vanilla drift through the air like a lingering farewell, evoking wind across the highlands and the whisper of something unseen.

Each candle includes a short horror story inspired by Scottish folklore, where a phantom funeral procession crosses the empty roads of Inverness.

Light Highland Mourning and breathe in the mournful beauty of Scotland’s haunted hills.

How to use a wooden wick

To keep your candle burning beautifully, trim your wooden wick before relighting. A wick that’s too charred can cause the flame to fade or go out. Simply clip or pinch off the burnt wood with a trimmer, nail clippers, or tissue to maintain a clean, steady glow.

Candle care

Maintain your candle’s flame by trimming the wood wick each time. Use a trimmer or pinch off charred wood. If your candle struggles to stay lit, the wick may be too long.

Ensure the wax melts all the way to the container edges on the first burn. This can take 2 to 4 hours. Limit each session to under 4 hours for safety.

To reduce fire risk, burn candles only while visible. Avoid drafts and movement, and keep them away from flammable items and small hands or paws.

Candles perform best when used within two years from the purchase date.
