How to use a wooden wick

To keep your wood wick candle burning beautifully, trim the wick after each use. A wick that’s too charred will struggle to stay lit—just remove the blackened edges with a trimmer, nail clippers, or tissue before your next burn. A small trim makes a big difference.

Candle Care

Trim the Wick:
Before lighting, check your wood wick. It should be about ¼ inch tall. Clip or pinch off any charred remains from the last burn to help your candle burn evenly and stay lit longer.

Proper Burning:
Let your candle pool to the edges of the container during its first use—this may take 2–4 hours. Avoid burning longer than 4 hours at once to extend the candle’s life and prevent overheating.

Fire Safety:
Burn only where you can keep watch. Keep the flame away from drafts, pets, and anything flammable. Never leave a candle unattended.

Burn Window:
For the richest scent and best performance, burn within 2 years of purchase.
