How to use a wooden wick

Always trim your wood wick before relighting your candle. When a wick becomes too charred, it can prevent the flame from burning properly. Simply clip or pinch off the blackened wood using a trimmer, nail clippers, or tissue to keep your candle burning smoothly.

Candle Care

Wick Care:
Before every use, trim your wood wick down to roughly ¼ inch. Remove any leftover charred bits from the last burn with a trimmer or tissue. If your candle won’t stay lit, it’s usually because the wick needs trimming.

Burn Time:
During the first burn, allow the wax to melt completely to the edges of the jar. This takes around 2–4 hours. To maintain quality and prevent overheating, avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time.

Safety First:
Always keep candles within sight while burning. Protect them from wind, fans, or vibrations, and never place them near items that could ignite. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Best By:
Use your candle within two years for optimal fragrance and performance.
