How to use a wooden wick
Wooden wicks need a quick trim after every burn. If your candle won’t stay lit, the wick has likely built up too much char. Gently remove the burnt edges with a wick trimmer, nail clippers, or even by pinching it off with a tissue to help your flame burn clean and steady.

- Trim your wooden wick before every burn. Pinch off any charred tips or use a wick trimmer. Keep the wick around 1/4" to ensure a steady flame, as a wick that is too long often causes your candle to go out.
- Allow your candle to burn long enough for the wax to melt to the edges of the container. The first burn usually takes 2–4 hours. Do not burn longer than 4 hours at a time.
- Always burn candles within sight. Keep away from drafts, vibrations, and flammable objects. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- For the best fragrance and performance, use your candle within two years of purchase.
