The Cinnamon Strudel Candle from the Depths of Winter

On a night thick with frost and fear, the scent of freshly baked strudel drifts through the dark. But sweetness can be deceiving. Krampusnacht is a cinnamon strudel candle that tempts the senses with warmth while something ancient stirs beyond the light.

A swirl of cinnamon and sugar gleams like firelight against snow, while apple and raisin bring comfort touched by unease. Beneath it all, vanilla and butter linger in the air, rich and golden as the last safe glow before night falls completely.

Inside the candle’s box rests a story best read by firelight—the tale of a child who disobeyed his Oma’s warning and the dark visitor who came knocking.

Each candle is hand-poured with 8oz of soy wax and a crackling wood wick, offering around 35 hours of clean burn time. The warmth may feel inviting, but beware the knock at the door when the last ember fades.

This item is a pre-order and will ship November 1st.

Care

  • Always trim your wood wick before each light! Simply pinch off the charred wood from the previous light, or use a wick trimmer for a cleaner cut. Wicks should be about 1/4" each time the candle is lit. The most common reason for wood wick candles not staying lit is a wick that is too long.
  • In order to ensure your candle will not tunnel over time, give your candle ample time to melt to the edge the first time you light it. This can take up to 4 hours
  • remember not to light the candle near anything flammeble: fabrics, curtains, house plants, etc. Keep candle away from pets and children. Do not light for longer than 4 hours at a time. Be careful handling candle when it is lit as the jar can be very hot.
