Hex and Wax Candle Co. took a short drive to one of our neighbor towns for a little local spookiness! We will be vending at the Whitewater Storytelling Festival on May 31st from 9am-3pm, so we wanted to get a little taste of the town's creepy history before bringing our own spooky candles to the locals!

Atop a hill in Starin Park stands the infamous Witches Tower, a stone water tower shrouded in legend. 🏚️ Hamilton House Bed & Breakfast
This Victorian-era bed and breakfast is not just known for its charm but also its resident spirits. Built atop an underground tunnel, the Hamilton House is said to be haunted by Sarah Posey and her son. Just a mile south of Whitewater lies The Fuzzy Pig, a unique complex featuring shops, dining, and the renowned Shockwave Haunts. This hand-built town offers a blend of rustic charm and eerie experiences. During the Halloween season, Shockwave Haunts transforms into a hotspot for thrill-seekers, offering haunted attractions that delve into the town's spooky lore.
At The Fuzzy Pig, one shopper asked to use the dressing rooms and found a woman sitting on one of the chairs silently behind the curtain. The shopper waited outside the dressing room for what felt like forever until she called out to the woman. When no one answered, she peered behind the dressing room curtain only to see no one there.
☕ The Sweet Spot Café
The Sweet Spot is said to be haunted by a local ghost named Ruby who can be heard walking in high heels, playing Frank Sinatra, and whispering in the barista's ears. Located downtown, it's the perfect spot to warm up with a cup of coffee and reflect on the day's eerie adventures.
